Scan with echo tech in echo lab and interpret with the cardiologist
Scan in the Fetal Evaluation Dept. located on the 2nd floor of the Main Hospital near the green elevators. Days and times will be emailed to you each week
Scan in ED by yourself or with another resident
Spend time in ED performing supervised ultrasound guided peripheral venous access; record a video clip on US machine of you performing a US-guided peripheral IV
Scan in radiology with ultrasound tech and interpret with radiologist
Complete ACEP Ultrasound Quizes - Physics, Procedural, Soft Tissue, Trauma, First Trimester Pregnancy, Urinary Tract and AAA. Print results and place in EUS binder
Log and save scans done during clinical shifts in Q-path and submit for QA Review
At end of ultrasound rotation, turn in EUS binder to Angie South
